Annual Fall Festival

Fall Festival went well and it was very fun! 

KoC prepared very well, also all the different ministries were amazing! We’re very blessed by everyone!
So many parishioners were there and enjoyed foods, games, and music.
Especially, we all enjoyed dunking Fr. Chris 😂
He was very good about it, but remember he said he’ll get even with you 🤪

St. Mary’s Religious Education Visits First Responders

On Sunday, September 27th, St. Mary’s Religious Education children, led by the Saints in the Making class, visited Kingman Fire Station 21 to deliver a care package from Operation Gratitude,
along with appreciation cards made by the R.E. children. The children and their families were then treated to a tour of the Fire Station. 

A special thank you to Beth and the firefighters on duty (Cesar, Chad, and Odom) for taking 
the time to talk to our group and show us the station!

Deacon Francis will be blessing the pets 

in the Parish Center parking lot on 

Saturday, October 3rd at 11AM. 

While your pet is being blessed, be sure to wish Deacon Francis a happy feast day!

Baby Bottle Campaign!

AAPC (Advice & Aid Pregnancy Center) is starting the Baby Bottle campaign on Sept. 5th. 

Bottles are now available.

It’ll be handed in by end of October.

St. Vincent de Paul 

In addition to monetary donations, we rely on donated goods to provide a wide range of assistance to the needy in our community.
A large portion of our revenue comes from donated furniture and appliances. Unfortunately our one driver is dealing with family obligations and is often unavailable to pick up those items. We have to refer donors to other agencies, causing our revenue to suffer.

 
We are asking all able-bodied men in the Parish to seriously consider volunteering even one day a week to help alleviate this situation. 

You will be joining a great team of dedicated volunteers!

WE NEED YOUR HELP.
During the month of July, we lost several volunteers to illness or moving out of state. 

We must gain additional volunteers to fill those positions. We especially need able-bodied men to drive the box truck to pick up donations of furniture and appliances and make deliveries. 

The Thrift Store & Warehouse are open three days a week, but one day or even a few hours a week would be of help if we can count on you.

Please consider joining our team and our mission to help the needy in our community.

Come join our adult OCIA class!

Classes meet weekly on Wednesdays from 7-8:30pm. We will be meeting in Rooms 5, 6, & 7 in the parish hall. 

Note: There is no class on September 23rd.

Enroll by filling out the OCIA application, which can be picked up in the parish office or the Gift Shop. Enrollees must be registered to the parish.

The workbook is $25 and can be paid

 by cash or check.

LUKE: THE STORY OF SALVATION FULFILLED

Come one and all to start your journey for a deeper prayer life and see how the Holy Spirit is working in your life, just as he did in the life of Jesus. 

You will experience joy as you see how God has been faithful throughout the ages and how God’s promise can guide you in your everyday life.

We begin on Tuesday, September 8 at 10 am in the Parish Center. 

There will be a video presentation each class with Jeff Cavins and Dr. Jeffrey Morrow.

St. Mary Women's Fellowship

Our upcoming Fall Study program:  

"Oremus: A Guide to Catholic Prayer,"

an 8-session study that teaches the essential steps of a faithful and fruitful prayer life.

You will pray with Scripture, listen for God's voice in daily life, overcome distractions, and learn to build a consistent prayer life.

Ordering workbooks: This year we will order as a group to save on the shipping cost. The more workbooks ordered the more discount we all receive. For more information,

Thank you to all scheduled adoration adorers, for your dedication in committing to an hour of Eucharistic Adoration each Thursday in St. Mary's Chapel.

If not a scheduled adorer, please consider becoming one.

This means committing to spending a scheduled hour each Thursday in prayer and Adoration between the hours of 9am and 5pm.  We especially need people to commit to the 11am and 2pm hours.

Also, we need substitutes for those who cannot adore during their scheduled time.

Join us in prayer during Thursday Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament, even if not scheduled.
